Drainage, Concrete Foundations & Hardstanding

Factory and Bottling Facility Upgrade

The contract was carried out on behalf of Clark Contracts as part of the factory upgrade including new roads and hardstanding for future bottling facility.

WGM scope of works encompassed all external works including excavation, disposal, drainage, kerbing, new road construction and structural concrete works to new building and lorry areas. The concrete works included excavation, shuttering and the installation of new 300mm deep reinforced foundations for a new pallet store and a 200mm deep reinforced concrete lorry parking /access hardstanding area. These works were undertaken in a live environment and had to take cognisance of other contractors and pedestrian management was of high importance due to the workforce working in the vicinity.
