We are proud to announce that phase two of the electrical distribution upgrade for our client Ferguson Marine is underway! Phase two of the workshop distribution upgrade project will aid the delivery of the first environmentally friendly, gas propelled ferry for Caledonian Macbrayne.
Over the past few years, Ferguson Marine has pushed the boundaries of innovation, particularly in the development of green propulsion technologies – first diesel-electric hybrid and then liquefied natural gas, demonstrated by the recent successful launches of MV Catriona and MV Glen Sannox.
Pictured here with Ian Kelso (Head of Procurement, Ferguson Marine), Gareth Fudge (WGM, Electrical Director) said; “WGM are delighted to be working with such a pioneering Scottish Company. This upgrade will not only provide surety regards electrical safety onsite but delivery productivity efficiencies at the same time”.
